BioThis is the journal for the fantasy novel The Song of a Secret Bird, which I'm posting here because I don't think I'll have space for it on my site.
The novel is set in the world of Sybereth's Wood, First of the Eleven Worlds, covered with silver trees and subject to four seasons when certain of its sentient races dream and others wake. Named from the perspective of the particular group I'm writing about, the reliir, these seasons are awakening, alen (a kind of twilight), dreamchange, and alen (a kind of dawn). The story cycle should cover a Syberethé year.
I welcome all comments on the story, and especially constructive criticism. If you think the story could use some editing, has grammar problems, or is just confusing, let me know. Of course, any other problems/questions/comments are welcome as well.
